Ever since I married a non member (who sinced joined the Church) he made me question my beliefs and why I was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I started questioning why I believed in the bible and the Book of Mormon. Then I started analyzing and figuring things out especially the bible and the theory of evolution. I think I got it figured out.
First of all it took Jesus six days to create heaven and earth and all that is there. My question is, did it take six of our Earth days or six of Jesus' days? His days are different from ours. One of Jesus's days is equal to one thousand of our years so it probably took six thousand of our years to create Earth and everything in and on it. Makes sense.
Now where does Adam and Eve and the dinosaurs fit in? I have total and complete faith that Adam and Eve were on Earth. But it is very obvious that dinosaurs ruled the world at some point. Then it came to me. How long were Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden? Because they were immortal, they could have been there for thousand, perhaps, millions of years before they partook of the fruit and were cast out. Now, if they were "cast out" of the Garden of Eden, what was happening outside the garden during that time? Could it be that dinosaurs ruled the Earth outside the Garden? Things that make you go "hmmm".
That is the "doctrine according to Barb".
Next time I will tell my theory about how The Great Flood fits into the scientific part of the Earth.

Funny things my grand daughter has said
I started thinking about Lexi and all the funny things she has said and done in her three and a half years upon this Earth. She has got to be the funniest, smartest little girl in the world. I thought I should document what she has said before I forget what she has said.
Age: about 14 months.
Situation: We were sitting on the couch watching a movie. Lexi was sitting between me and her Grandpa. She looked at us and said,"I lllllove you guys." That was the very first sentence we heard from her.
Age: about 16 to 18 months
Situation: I was talking to Liz about some situation that was happening to her and Lexi was standing beside me. Liz said "It's bull shit." Lexi said back to Liz,"Mommy, don't swear!"
Age: about 21 months
Situation: Lexi and Seann were watching a movie. Seann was laying on the couch and Lexi was sitting on the couch. Seann was putting his feet on her and she kept pushing his feet off her. After doing this for quite some time Lexi said,"Seanny, stop it. You're pissing me off."
Age: About two years old
Situation: We took Seann and Lexi to church and I was playing the organ and Murray was sitting on the pew with the kids. Just when everything was quiet and the Bishop stood up to start the meeting, Lexi yells,"Hi, Gramma!" as she waved to me. Everyone laughed.
After I was done playing the organ I went to sit with Murray and the kids. Again, just when the Bishop stood up to say something, Lexi jumped into my arms and said in a rather loud voice,"I MISSED you, Gramma!" and she gave me the biggest, loudest, sloppiest kiss on the cheek. The Bishop was laughing because he had seen and heard everything. He composed himself as he started to speak.
Age: close to three years old
Situation: Liz and I were sitting on the deck outside in the summer watching the kids play. Lexi was pretending she was making cookies and sharing her imaginary cookies with us. Liz asked Lexi,"What makes you think you can make cookies?"
Lexi replies,"Because I am a girl."
Liz,"Yeah. So?"
Lexi,"Mommy, Girls can do EVERYTHING!"
Out of the mouths of babes. I LOVE MY GRANDKIDS!!!
